Goa, Oct. 9 -- In two separate night raids in Colva, police rescued nine women and arrested three accused for allegedly forcing them into prostitution under the pretext of spa and salon services. In the first operation at Royal Spa, aided by a decoy customer and NGO ARZ, four women were rescued while Rajasthan natives Ishika Chotu and Chandani Chotu were arrested. In a second raid at Happiness Will Grow Unisex Saloon and Spa, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) freed five more victims and took Radhika Sharma from Colva into custody. Authorities have confirmed investigations are ongoing.
