Goa, Nov. 23 -- Colva Police have arrested a man from Udupi, Karnataka, for a series of thefts at Goa resorts. He was caught after trespassing into a Benaulim resort on October 21, where he allegedly stole a gold rudraksh mala valued at Rs.2 lakh and Rs.40,000 in cash from one room, along with Rs.80,000 from another. Police investigations revealed he had been targeting several resorts across South Goa using a similar method. His arrest has put focus on the rising number of migrant thieves operating in the state, with authorities now reviewing multiple related cases to identify further links.
