Tensions ran high in Collem following a demonstration by a large group of residents at the police station late Saturday evening, demanding a thorough inquiry into the assault of three local youth four days prior over a minor traffic incident.

The protesting locals met Collem PI Ragoba Kamath to express their concerns. They insisted that all eight individuals involved in the incident, including one person from Mollem, be properly investigated.
