Goa, Aug. 18 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has appealed to the people of Goa to take advantage of the state government's circular regarding the regularization of old houses built before 1972 that are reflected on survey plans.

Sawant said that application forms will be made available from September onwards, and urged citizens to keep the necessary documents ready to regularize their homes under the scheme.

The Chief Minister also announced that the Regularization of Unauthorized Construction Bill will soon come into force, providing relief to many Goans living in unregistered or irregularly documented houses.
