Goa, Oct. 31 -- Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said the state government is committed to transforming Goa into a premier hub for sports and youth development. Highlighting ongoing efforts, he stated that sports infrastructure, coaching facilities, and youth programs are being consistently upgraded across the state. Through the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Sports Authority of Goa, several stadiums and training centres have been modernised to meet international standards. Sawant emphasised that these initiatives aim not only to nurture local talent but also to attract major national and international tournaments to the state.
