Goa, Dec. 16 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has urged taxi owners in Goa to transition to app-based services and adopt modern digital technology at the earliest. Speaking to tourism stakeholders in Candolim, Sawant said issues related to the taxi sector should not be politicised and must be resolved through dialogue and cooperation. Referring to the government's push for app-based taxi platforms, he assured that no unilateral decisions would be taken. The Chief Minister added that attempts to create unnecessary conflict between taxi operators and the government are not in the state's interest.
