Goa, Nov. 7 -- Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant inaugurated six newly equipped fire brigades under the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services to enhance emergency response across Goa. The new fleet will be deployed at Valpoi, Bicholim, Pernem, Mapusa, Old Goa, and the Panjim headquarters. With these additions, the government aims to strengthen fire safety infrastructure, reduce response time during emergencies, and ensure better protection for citizens and property in both urban and rural areas of the state.
