Goa, June 19 -- Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday confirmed that the decision to remove Govind Gaude from the cabinet was made solely by him. Speaking to the media, Sawant said, "Govind Gaude's removal was decided by me."

However, the Chief Minister declined to comment on any possible cabinet reshuffle, stating that further details will be revealed when a new cabinet minister is appointed. "I will inform at the time of the new appointment," he said.

Sawant's brief statement comes amid growing political speculation following Gaude's exit. The government has yet to officially announce a replacement or clarify changes in portfolio allocation.
