Goa, Jan. 9 -- The formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe land grab cases in Goa has temporarily halted large-scale land frauds. This includes the sale of both government and private lands using forged documents. The government is taking strict measures to ensure such scams do not recur. CM Sawant emphasized that, thanks to this initiative, fraudulent activities are now under control and authorities are closely monitoring developments to prevent further illegal transactions and protect the rights of landowners.
