Goa, June 27 -- Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has issued a strong appeal to parents and young people, urging them to remain vigilant against the growing menace of drug trafficking. Speaking at a rally organised by the Bicholim Police Station on the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Sawant warned that drug networks are increasingly targeting locals-especially youth-with promises of quick and easy money in exchange for transporting suspicious parcels.
