Goa, Nov. 28 -- Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Thursday announced that he will order an inquiry into the November 7 Morjim murder case, in which a senior citizen was brutally killed after reportedly confronting illegal construction activity on a hill.
The Chief Minister's statement comes amid growing public concern, as more than 20 days have passed and the main suspect is still absconding. Goa Police have so far arrested three individuals in connection with the case, but the key accused continues to evade authorities.
Sawant assured that strict action will follow once the inquiry is conducted, and emphasised that the investigation will be pursued with full seriousness to bring all offenders to justice.
