Goa, Oct. 1 -- Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the state-of-the-art 1919 Sports Cricket Stadium at IDC Verna , marking a significant boost to sports infrastructure in Goa. The event saw the presence of Indian T20 cricket captain Suryakumar Yadav, Kamla Prasad Yadav, Minister Mauvin Godinho, Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, and several other dignitaries.

The new facility is equipped with modern amenities to host national and international cricket matches, aiming to promote sports culture and provide budding athletes with world-class training opportunities.

CM Sawant highlighted the government's commitment to developing sports infrastructure across the state and encouraged youth to utilize the stadium for nurturing their talent.
