PORVORIM, March 21 -- Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant held his first cabinet meeting ahead of the Vote of Confidence in the Assembly on Wednesday.
Sources revealed it was just a formality ahead of the trust vote and there was no particular agenda, other than general discussions.
"The CM informed his cabinet colleagues of construction of modern memorial for late Manohar Parrikar, at Miramar, where his final rites were conducted," sources said.
Meanwhile, the ashes of former chief minister were immersed at the confluence of Mandovi, Zuari and the Arabian Sea by his elder son Utpal Parrikar Wednesday morning.
