Goa, Dec. 3 -- 1. The Candles of expectation Christmas draws nearer with each passing day. The season of Advent, embraces four sacred Sundays before Christmas. Each candle whispers its own message into the silence. The first is the Prophecy Candle, it burns with the radiant hope announced by the prophets. The second is the Bethlehem Candle, it glows with the peace proclaimed by angels. The third, the Shepherds' Candle, illuminates the joy of simple hearts who first heard the Good News. The fourth, the Angel's Candle, shines as a symbol of divine love. I have always thought of Christmas as a charitable time. 2.
