Goa, May 25 -- A tragic late-night hit-and-run near Chicalim junction on Friday left 35-year-old Rani Bind critically injured and her pet dog dead. Rani was standing near the road divider after walking her dog when a speeding car, allegedly driven by Ullas Naik, came from an internal road and struck her. The impact killed the dog instantly and left Rani severely injured. The car didn't stop-continuing to drive recklessly, it collided with two more vehicles before jumping the divider and landing on the opposite side of the road.
