PONDA, Jan. 18 -- Goa Dairy AGM scheduled on Sunday at Sahakar Bhavan Hall Curti was postponed following chaotic situation for around an hour leading to law and order problem.

Chairman Durgesh Shirodkar expressed unhappiness over the chaos by few farmers forcing him to postpone the meeting.

The few former directors or members (chairmen of milk supplying societies to Goa Dairy) opposing the AGM claimed RCS has not given its approval to hold the AGM. The meeting was postponed by the chairman on this technical ground. This is the second time the meeting was postponed. Earlier the meeting scheduled on December 27, 2020 was postponed by Dairy Administration.

The postponed meeting will now be held only when RCS fixes a date, he said.
