Goa, Jan. 10 -- The Mapusa Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court has granted bail to Abdul Rahman, who was arrested by the Saligao Police on January 3 in connection with an alleged chain snatching case.
According to defence counsel Adv. Salil Lawande, the court granted bail on the execution of a personal bail bond of Rs.20,000. As part of the bail conditions, the accused has been directed to report to the Saligao Police for a period of 12 days.
The case pertains to an alleged chain snatching incident under investigation by the Saligao Police, and further inquiry into the matter is ongoing.
