Goa, Sept. 6 -- The ceiling of the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) bus stand in Panjim has begun to show visible signs of deterioration, raising safety concerns for daily commuters.

According to observations, portions of the plaster on the ceiling have developed cracks, with fragments at risk of falling on people passing below. The condition poses a potential hazard to the thousands of passengers who use the busy bus terminal every day.

Citizens have urged authorities to immediately take up maintenance and repair works to prevent any untoward incidents. Experts warn that ignoring the early signs of structural wear could lead to serious accidents.
