India, Feb. 14 -- Ahead of the upcoming Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) elections, Mayor Rohit Monserrate expressed confidence in his party's prospects, stating that candidates have been finalised across all wards, including several new faces. He asserted that Panaji has become cleaner and safer over recent years due to sustained civic initiatives and infrastructure improvements. Monserrate added that the council's development work will speak for itself, while claiming that rival parties may attempt emotional appeals closer to polling day to attract voters.
