Goa, June 20 -- The Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) on Thursday passed a resolution to demolish the controversial El Dorado building, during a council meeting that saw the discussion of 14 key agendas.

The decision was taken as part of ongoing efforts to address unauthorized structures and ensure regulatory compliance within city limits. However, the meeting took place in the absence of opposition councilors Uday Madkaikar and Surendra Furtado, who were notably missing during the proceedings.
