Goa, Feb. 26 -- Beginning in 2026, students enrolled in the Class X Board examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will have the option to select between two examination sessions: one scheduled for February and another for May. Furthermore, candidates may choose to participate in both sessions if they desire. Students will also have the opportunity to forgo certain subjects in their second attempt, provided they are content with the scores obtained in their initial examination. It is important to note that examination fees will see an increase, and there will be no supplementary examinations, as the May session will serve this purpose.
