After O Heraldo highlighted the sorry state of affairs, the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has announced its decision to renovate the Caranzalem Children's Park, with the tender for the project likely to be issued by the end of next month.

A senior CCP official told O Heraldo, "The project is at the tendering stage, and we have already prepared estimates. The renovation will cost approximately Rs 2 crore and will be executed in phases. The works include replacing children's play equipment, upgrading lights and bulbs, constructing a toilet, and replacing chairs and benches, among other improvements. If funds are secured, the work is expected to commence by the end of next month."
