Goa, Nov. 8 -- Traffic came to a halt near Carvalho Petrol Pump in Mapusa on Friday after a KL-registered vehicle entered a one-way road and crashed into a car approaching from the opposite direction, causing the latter to overturn.

The collision briefly disrupted vehicular movement on the busy stretch as locals and police personnel rushed to the scene to assist and remove the damaged vehicles.

Sources said one of the vehicles was allegedly parked improperly along the roadside, which may have contributed to the mishap. The car driver sustained minor injuries and was given first aid at the site.

Mapusa Police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
