Goa, Nov. 4 -- A road accident occurred at Cruz Waddo, Marna-Siolim, when a car bearing a Maharashtra registration number allegedly attempted to overtake a tempo near St. Anthony Church and collided head-on with an oncoming motorcycle.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries on both legs and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Outpost Head Constable Rupesh Shetgaokar promptly arrived at the scene and conducted the panchanama. The damaged vehicles were later cleared to ease traffic movement.

Police said further investigation is underway, and more details are awaited.
