Goa, Jan. 20 -- An accident involving two cars at Karmal Ghat in Canacona on Monday resulted in injuries to two foreign nationals and one local driver, officials said.

The collision led to temporary disruption of traffic in the area as vehicles were forced to slow down while emergency services attended to the injured and cleared the roadway. All three injured persons were promptly shifted to Balli Hospital for medical treatment.

Police reached the spot soon after the incident and regulated traffic to restore normal movement. Further details regarding the cause of the accident are awaited as investigations are underway.
