On the strength of a whirlwind double century by captain Yash Kasvankar, Goa reached a strong position on the second day of their Cooch Behar Trophy Elite (U-19) four-day match, at the Sector 10 BS Cricket Stadium, Bhilai, in Chhattisgarh. Replying to Chhattisgarh's first-innings total of 170 all out, the Goa team reached 389 for 9 in 118 overs. Yash played a true captain's knock, smashing an unbeaten 243 runs with 20 fours and five sixes. Goa have now taken a 219-run lead.
