MAPUSA: Candolim SC registered a dominant 4-0 victory over Nuvem SC in the GFA First Division League match, played at the Duler stadium, propelling themselves to second place on the table with 15 points from seven matches. Nuvem SC, meanwhile, remain rooted to the bottom, still in search of their first point.
The Candolim side got off to a lively start and took a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break, thanks to a brace from U-21 player Aryan Salunke. Both goals were the result of incisive through passes-one from Aniket Naik and the other from Chandrakant Gadekar-showcasing Candolim's sharp attacking play.
