Goa, Oct. 15 -- A large mango tree uprooted and fell near Downtown Hotel Candolim, opposite KFC, causing damage to three parked vehicles on Tuesday, authorities reported.

The incident prompted an immediate response from the Pelerna Fire Station team, who quickly arrived at the scene and cleared the fallen tree to prevent further hazards. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, though all three vehicles sustained significant damage.

The Pelerna fire crew on duty included Sub Officer Sunny Phayde, Firefighters Rama Naik, Videsh Mapsekar, Vishal Patil, Swapnil Naik, Pritesh Mahalder, Bhavesh Shirodkar, Rudresh Pandren, and Manoj Mehale, who efficiently coordinated the rescue and clearance operation.
