Goa, Jan. 6 -- Team Herald [emailprotected] RAIA: Canacona Sports and Cultural Club scrapped past Sao Jose De Areal Sports Club 4-3 via tie-breaker in the inaugural match to move into the next round of 2nd Vaidya Family Cup 2026 inter-village football tournament played at the government school playground, Cuncolim, on Monday. At the end of regulation time, both teams were held to a goalless draw. Yamnursab Pinjor, Sneider Lobo, Velvino Fernandes and Ronaldo Oliveira scored for Canacona Sports and Cultural Club, while Ashwin Costa, David Colaco and Aaron Mascarenhas netted for Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club in the tie-breaker.
