Goa, Jan. 3 -- Canacona police detained four men after receiving complaints about individuals allegedly creating a nuisance by seeking alms while misrepresenting their identity. Police said the men were stopped and questioned after their activities raised suspicion among locals. During interrogation, the individuals reportedly admitted that they were not members of the transgender community, contrary to their earlier claims. As per procedure, the police conducted medical examinations before further action. The four were later released after their family members arrived at the police station.
