PANJIM, March 20 -- The Cabinet on Thursday approved 24 hours seamless digital stamping, to bring efficiency and transparency in stamping system. It will be paperless and eliminate fraudulent practices, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant told media after a cabinet meeting on Thursday.

It is part of modernisation of governance and good governance. This will bring in efficiency and transparency and render the whole process paperless. It will also eliminate fraudulent practices, Sawant said. The local stamp vendors who were selling physical stamp papers will also be taken on board Sawant said and they will be trained in e-stamping.
