PANJIM, June 3 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Tuesday gave a call to boycott and ban the sale and use of Chinese products in the State, as well as in India.
Addressing the media persons, he highlighted the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government as it completed one year (in its second term). Tanavade urged the people to endorse locally made products and to support the nation's call for 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.
"We need to ban use and sale of Chinese products. Such things cannot be done overnight but we will succeed in the long run. It will take time but we need to start it now," he said.
