Dicarpale Sports Club got the better of Sao Jose de Areal 2-0 in the inaugural match of Navelim villagers Union Trophy organised by Navelim Villagers Union at Rosary Church ground, Navelim, on Friday. Both teams remained goalless draw at the half time. In the 10th minute, William Niasso powerful shoot from the box missed the target by whiskers, while Barsel of Sao Jose de Areal's move was foiled by Dicarpale SC goalkeeper Francisco Colaco before the half time.
