Goa, Dec. 15 -- Taking serious note of alleged unauthorised constructions in Goa, the Bombay High Court's Goa Bench has initiated suo motu proceedings in the matter. According to sources, the court noted that illegal buildings and businesses continued to operate without approvals, despite demolition orders being passed earlier. The High Court has also directed the state government to clarify accountability for any future mishaps arising from such violations. Further orders are likely to be passed, with the matter scheduled to be heard again in January.
