Goa, Aug. 23 -- The Bombay High Court at Goa has granted bail to Samuel alias Samuel Premkumar Pujari and Gautam alias Gautam Rajendra Talwar, both residents of Mapusa, who were arrested by Colvale police on June 16 under the NDPS Act.

The duo was accused of allegedly hurling packets containing ganja into the premises of Colvale jail. Following their arrest, police registered a case under relevant provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

After hearing arguments, the High Court ordered their release on bail, subject to conditions. Further investigation into the case is underway.
