Goa, March 31 -- A blast inside a mosque in Beed district, Maharashtra, in the early hours of Sunday has led to rising tensions in the area. AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has raised concerns, alleging that the accused were confident they would be hailed as "heroes" for the attack.
In a post on X, Owaisi identified the suspects as Vijay Gavhane and Shriram Sagde, claiming that Gavhane had even posted a video of himself holding gelatin sticks prior to the attack. The explosion occurred at 2:30 AM on March 29 at the Ardha Masla village mosque in Georai tehsil. Although no injuries were reported, the blast caused significant damage to the interior of the mosque, shaking the local Muslim community.
