Goa, Dec. 12 -- BJP President Damu Naik announced that the ruling alliance will contest all 50 seats in the 20 December ZP elections. He said the BJP has put up candidates in 40 seats, the MGP is contesting three, and the party is backing seven Independents. Damu expressed confidence of a strong victory, highlighting that nearly 80 per cent of the candidates are new faces. He said this refreshed lineup gives the alliance a solid chance of winning by a significant margin in the upcoming polls.
