Goa, Dec. 29 -- Advocate Vishnu Joshi, representing the victims of the Birch fire tragedy, on Tuesday said he would strongly oppose the anticipatory bail filed by the Luthra brothers. He stated that the brothers are currently in judicial custody and had earlier sought anticipatory bail after co-owner Ajay Gupta was re-arrested for allegedly using forged documents to run the nightclub. Joshi said his legal team would contest the bail plea, adding that the accused cannot be considered law-abiding citizens. He also pointed out that the brothers had travelled to Thailand earlier, raising concerns over their conduct. The matter is expected to be heard in court soon.
