Goa, Dec. 16 -- The High Court has tagged another Public Interest Litigation (PIL) related to the Birch fire incident with the suo motu PIL already taken up by the court earlier this week. The suo motu proceedings were initiated by the High Court on Monday in connection with the tragic fire incident.

With the latest development, both PILs will now be heard together to ensure a comprehensive examination of the issues arising from the case. The High Court has fixed January 12 as the next date of hearing for the tagged petitions.

The move is aimed at streamlining the proceedings and addressing all concerns related to the Birch fire incident in a coordinated manner, as the court continues to closely monitor the matter.
