Goa, Dec. 18 -- Ajay Gupta, co-owner of Birch by Romeo Lane, has filed a bail application before the Mapusa court in connection with the ongoing case related to the establishment.

Sources informed that the bail plea was submitted before the Mapusa Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court and is expected to come up for hearing shortly. The matter pertains to the case registered following the incident at the premises.

Further details are awaited as the court proceedings continue and the prosecution is expected to present its response to the bail application.
