Goa, Dec. 11 -- Ajay Gupta, co-owner of Birch by Romeo Lane, has been detained in Delhi and is currently being brought to Goa, where he will be produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) in Mapusa for remand proceedings.

Gupta was wanted in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Arpora nightclub fire, which claimed 25 lives and triggered a major crackdown on safety violations across the state. A Look Out Circular (LOC) had been issued against him after he was found absconding when police arrived at his residence for questioning.
