Goa, Nov. 13 -- Counting of votes for the Bihar Assembly Elections will begin at 8 am tomorrow at 46 centres across the state's 38 districts. Polling for 243 constituencies was conducted in two phases, and the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) containing the votes of 2,616 candidates are currently secured in strong rooms. Chief Electoral Officer Vinod Singh Gunjiyal informed Akashvani News that EVMs and VVPATs are kept under a three-tier security system, with Central Armed Police Forces and State Police deployed. He added that CCTV surveillance and election observers will monitor the counting process to ensure transparency.
