Goa, Dec. 29 -- Bicholim Police swiftly cracked a theft reported at the Krishna Petrol Pump in Sankhali, arresting two youths and detaining a Child in Conflict with Law (CCL) within hours of the incident.

According to police, the trio allegedly broke into the petrol pump and escaped with Rs.9,000 in cash along with the CCTV DVR unit in an apparent attempt to destroy evidence. Acting on leads, the investigation team quickly tracked down the suspects and recovered key material evidence.

A scooter used in the crime was also seized as part of the operation. Further investigation is underway.
