Goa, Nov. 29 -- The Bicholim Fire Department successfully rescued a non-Goan youth who fell into a well at Bholwada, Karapur, early Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 7:50 a.m., prompting an immediate response from fire personnel after they received the alert.

A team from the Bicholim Fire Station quickly reached the site and managed to pull the youth out of the well safely. Following the rescue, Bicholim police took the individual into custody and transported him to the Bicholim Health Centre for a preliminary medical examination.

Thanks to the swift action of the fire department, the youth's life was saved, and he is currently under medical observation.
