Bhatti United advanced to the semi-finals of the 5th Cumborda Sports Club Football Tournament with a 5-4 penalty shootout victory over Sinaibag SC at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday. Sinaibag took an early lead in the 15th minute through Shubert DaCosta. Bhatti's Ralf nearly equalised, but his powerful effort was superbly saved. In the second half, Bhatti created several chances before Mackroy struck from long range in the 40th minute to level the match at 1-1. In the tie-breaker, Mackroy, Aaron, Shelton, Nelroy, and Perry scored for Bhatti, while Malcolm, Rayzel, Ray, and Anthony netted for Sinaibag. Shubert DaCosta of Sinaibag SC was named man-of-the-match.
