RAIA: Betalbatim Sporting Club secured a narrow 1-0 win over Varca SC to move into the quarter-finals of the Benaulim Villagers Cup football tournament, organised by Dando Boys Club Benaulim and played at the St John de Baptista ground, Benaulim, on Wednesday.

The decisive moment came in the second half when Colomban Noronha of Varca SC inadvertently put the ball into his own net, handing Betalbatim Sporting the advantage and ultimately, the win.
