Goa, Jan. 19 -- The shores of Benaulim came alive with tradition, learning and gratitude on January 17, 2025, as fisherman leader Pele invited 80 students from Loyola High School, Margao, to experience the age-old Goan practice of pulling a traditional rampon fishing net, turning the beach into a vibrant outdoor classroom.

For Pele, the initiative was far more than a fishing activity. With deep emotion, he described it as his gift to the next generation - a heartfelt effort to ensure that Goa's traditional way of life, respect for the sea and the spirit of community solidarity are preserved and passed on.
