Goa, Sept. 11 -- The high-profile case regarding the disqualification of four panch members of the Rumdamol-Davorlim village panchayat has taken a new turn, with the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Salcete resuming re-hearings following court directions. The case stems from allegations of favouritism levelled by complainant Mukesh Naik against the four members. The panch members named in the proceedings are Mubina Bi Faniband (Ward 9), Mohammed Samiulla Faniband (Ward 3), Mohammed Mustafa Dodmani (Ward 4), and Zubeda Bi Abudakar Agaskar (Ward 5).
