Goa, Jan. 22 -- The Bangladesh government has decided to boycott the T20 World Cup 2026, confirming that the national cricket team will not travel to India for the tournament. The global event is set to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Aminul Islam Bulbul said the board would continue discussions with the ICC but made it clear that playing in India was not an option. He claimed that several decisions taken during the ICC Board Meeting were shocking and added that the Mustafizur Rahman issue was not an isolated matter, accusing India of being the sole decision-maker.
