Goa, Nov. 18 -- A member of the Nayak family has described the harrowing minutes when a group of armed intruders stormed their seventh-floor flat in Baina around 2:30 am. According to the victim, 7-8 men broke the rear window grills, forced their way inside, and burst into the bedroom armed with iron and aluminium rods.

The attackers allegedly struck her husband on the head, injuring him seriously, and assaulted her daughter and elderly mother. The gang demanded locker keys and cash, repeatedly threatening to kill them. When her husband resisted, they hit him again with rods and kicked him.

The masked assailants fled with cash, silver utensils, gold ornaments, bangles, and rings. The victim said the men appeared young and spoke in a ton...
